Softball Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford fell victim to Modesto and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Modesto, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Waterford will challenge Summerville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Modesto, they will take on Buhach Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
