Volleyball Game Preview: Noblesville Millers vs. Westfield Shamrocks

The Noblesville Millers will square off against the Westfield Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Noblesville has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 22.

While Noblesville was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Carmel's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Westfield faced Cathedral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Shamrocks came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 3-0. The Shamrocks haven't had much luck with the Fighting Irish recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.

Noblesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Westfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
