 Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell just short of the Santa Rosa Lions by a score of  13-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Logan of the  22-15 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Monday.
 For Santa Rosa's part,  Kassie Padilla made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and eight unearned) runs off only  one  hit. Padilla was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Angelina Silva was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.  Alyssa Villanueva was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Logan's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Santa Rosa, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record  this season.
 Logan will be playing in front of their home fans against Non Varsity Opponent at 3:00  p.m.  in Thursday's  first game.
