Basketball Game Preview: Proviso East Pirates vs. Glenbard East Rams

Proviso East is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They took down Lake Park 58-42. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on three straight.

Isaiah Pickens was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points and six boards. The game was his ninth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jarret Swift, who posted nine points.

Glenbard East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. Proviso East's win bumped their record up to 20-9.
