Volleyball Recap: Goshen Comes Up Short

Goshen extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-8. They lost 3-0 to the Mishawaka Cavemen. If the RedHawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cavemen when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Mishawaka, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Cassie Creech, who had six digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 46 times she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Goshen will square off against rival Wawasee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mishawaka is set to face off against their familiar foe Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
