Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Jaguars vs. North Oconee Titans

The Jackson Jaguars will take on the North Oconee Titans on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Jackson sitting on four straight victories and North Oconee on 17.

Jackson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They managed a 45-39 win over Northview.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Cayden Cornish and Tamariana Bivins. Cornish had a solid game and posted ten points and three steals. Meanwhile, Bivins did her best for the losing side, putting up four points.

Dalton typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday North Oconee proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Catamounts with a 62-57 victory.

North Oconee's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
