Oak Grove never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Montgomery Central Timberwolves 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Oak Grove got a big performance out of Grayson Messer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Messer is becoming a predictor of the Grizzlies' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when he doesn't). Carson Everhart was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Oak Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Oak Grove now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Montgomery Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oak Grove beat the Timberwolves by a score of 4-0 later that day.
