Soccer Recap: Manatee Comes Up Short

Manatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers.

Manatee's goal came courtesy of Mario Arroyo-Alonso, which was the first he's scored this season.

Manatee's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Berkeley Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Manatee didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Pine on the 24th. As for Berkeley Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Plant on the 22nd.
