Mason waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Hamilton Big Blue. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Ollie Stuart looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sam Davies, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Mason's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hamilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Mason will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hamilton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
