After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deep Creek, Western Branch was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-31 win over the Smithfield Packers. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Western Branch's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Smithfield, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Western Branch and Hickory will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Western Branch is facing Hickory at the right time seeing as Hickory is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
