Soccer Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wade Hampton Generals. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Generals are ranked seventh).

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wade Hampton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boiling Springs will square off against Gaffney at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wade Hampton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dorman at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th.
