Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall lost against Mission on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phoenix came up short against the Bears, falling 3-0.

Marshall took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-13.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mission, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Marshall will head out on the road to square off against Burton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mission, they will welcome Leadership at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
