Basketball Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 59-35 to the Big Pasture Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Rangers are ranked 138th).

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Big Pasture, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Tipton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grandfield at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Big Pasture, they will face off against Geronimo at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Big Pasture's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
