Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Queen's Grant's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Queen's Grant is set to face off against their familiar foe Mountain Island Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will challenge rival Jackson Day at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
