Baseball Recap: Greenup County Takes a Loss

The Greenup County Musketeers didn't have quite enough to beat Great Crossing on Saturday and fell 5-4. The Musketeers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gage Lamarque made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Ty Logan was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Greenup County's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Great Crossing, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Greenup County has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Ryle on the 12th. As for Great Crossing, they will host Frankfort at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
