Softball Preview: Chester Volcanoes vs. CORE Butte Lynx
For the first time this season, Chester will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the CORE Butte Lynx at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chester is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Jenna Schlueter was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Schlueter was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
