Volleyball Recap: MacArthur Gets the Win

MacArthur won the last time they faced Victoria East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Brahmas skirted past the Titans 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Brahmas.

Taylor McCown paced MacArthur's offense, picking up seven kills. McCown got some help from Sadie Becho and her eight assists. Ashly Vargas-Bernal controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Victoria East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

MacArthur will be playing at home against Winn at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victoria East, they will head out on the road to take on El Campo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
