Baseball Recap: Brandon Gets the Win

Brandon won the last time they faced Northwest Rankin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Jackson Clark spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has become a key player for Brandon: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 10-11 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Keith Forbes, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Brandon's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Northwest Rankin, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-13-1.
