Baseball Recap: Citrus Hurricanes vs. Lake Weir Hurricanes
Citrus barely beat Lake Weir the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Citrus never let Lake Weir get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Monday. Citrus hasn't had any issues with Lake Weir recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Cole Lawrence looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
