Basketball Recap: Ascent Classical Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ascent Classical Academy can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 19-11 win over the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Guardians: when they faced off against the Spartans back in December of 2024, they had to take a 18-17 defeat.

Ascent Classical Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Ascent Classical Academy will take on Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they will host Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
