Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Amanda Esmeier and Hannah Vermuelen Lead Mukwonago to Victory

Mukwonago had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Union Grove on Thursday. The Indians put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Mukwonago not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Union Grove between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.

Mukwonago was led to victory by Hannah Vermuelen and Amanda Esmeier. Vermuelen had 17 digs and two aces, while Esmeier had 14 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Esmeier has posted since back in August.
