Basketball Recap: Life Center Academy Comes Up Short

Life Center Academy was the 76-59 winner over Solebury when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Life Center Academy Warriors took a hard 80-66 fall against the Solebury Spartans on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Life Center Academy lost, don't look at Gardy Etienne. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds. Etienne's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Amari Stokes was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 13 points and six boards.

Even though they lost, Life Center Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Life Center Academy's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Solebury, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.

Life Center Academy has already played their next matchup (against Liguori Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Solebury will head out on the road to challenge Kohelet Yeshiva at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
