Volleyball Recap: Karla Garcia and Alyssa Mishriki Secure Win for Crossroads Christian + How To Watch

The Crossroads Christian Warriors made easy work of the Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-18.

Crossroads Christian was led to victory by Alyssa Mishriki and Karla Garcia. Mishriki had 15 digs and two aces, while Garcia hit 66.7% for six kills and 14 aces and eight digs. With that strong performance, Mishriki is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

They weren't the only good server: Crossroads Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive games.

Crossroads Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Mesa Grande Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian will take on Norton Science & Language Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mesa Grande Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Redlands Adventist Academy at 8:00 p.m. on the 20th.
