Softball Game Preview: Andress Eagles vs. El Paso Tigers

Andress is on a five-game streak of home losses, and El Paso a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Andress Eagles will look to defend their home field against the El Paso Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Andress lost 22-1 to Canutillo.

Andress saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amberly Gamez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, El Paso came up short against Chapin on Thursday, falling 18-5.

El Paso's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Andress, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Andress has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .494. However, it's not like El Paso struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
