Soccer Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Waccamaw Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Waccamaw this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Georgetown's record is now 1-11. As for Waccamaw, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will welcome Aynor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waccamaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wando at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
