Basketball Game Preview: Medway Mustangs vs. Dedham Marauders

The Medway Mustangs will challenge the Dedham Marauders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Medway easily dispatched Ashland on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Medway fell just short of Norwood by a score of 51-48 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Medway has suffered since February 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, Dedham earned a 54-46 win over Dover-Sherborn on Friday.

Dedham is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Medway, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Medway was able to grind out a solid victory over Dedham in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 53-44. Will Medway repeat their success, or does Dedham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
