Southlake Carroll put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the College Station Cougars with a sharp 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Olivia Wiske tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks every time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Scarlett Kuhn and Jordan Stewart did most of the damage at the plate: Kuhn went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Stewart went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cate Stoklas, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Southlake Carroll was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .487. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in four consecutive games.

Southlake Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for College Station, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Southlake Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Trinity on the 17th. College Station has also already played their next match (against Shadow Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
