Chatfield is 9-1 against Dakota Ridge since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will face off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Chatfield will be strutting in after a victory while Dakota Ridge will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Chatfield made easy work of Bear Creek and carried off a 3-0 win. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Dakota Ridge came up short against Columbine on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 25-23.

Dakota Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Chatfield, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Everything went Chatfield's way against Dakota Ridge when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Chatfield made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
