Volleyball Recap: Maury's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Maury had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Commodores also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Maury was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-13, 25-15.

Johnny March paced Maury's offense, picking up six kills. March got some help from Luke Shomaker and his eight assists. March also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Andrew Smith, racking up two apiece.

Maury's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Maury is set to challenge their familiar foe Granby at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington will face off against rival Norview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
