Baseball Recap: Northlake Christian Has No Trouble Against St. Thomas Aquinas

Northlake Christian barely beat St. Thomas Aquinas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Northlake Christian Wolverines put the hurt on the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons with a sharp 9-3 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Max Millett was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 11 matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke McAdams, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Northlake Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. St. Thomas Aquinas is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northlake Christian will head out to face off against Assumption at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will venture away from home to challenge E.D. White at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
