It's playoff time, and Brookfield Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pewaukee Pirates on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted since October 4th.

Molly Daugherty paced Brookfield Central's offense, picking up 16 kills. Daugherty got some help from Emma Duff and her 27 assists.

Brookfield Central is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-18 record this season. As for Pewaukee, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 29-14.

As of now, neither Brookfield Central nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
