Soccer Preview: Hoover and Perry Square Off

The Hoover Vikings will challenge the Perry Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hoover proved they can win big with a four-goal win on Tuesday. On Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They snuck past North Royalton with a 2-1 victory.

Meanwhile, neither Perry nor Highland could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Hoover has now won eight of their last nine games at home. That gives them a 6-2-2 record this season. The home wins came by way of their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those nine matches. As for Perry, they are now 5-4-2, having gone 1-0-2 since their three-game losing streak ended.
