Basketball Recap: Hilliard Darby Gets the Win

Hilliard Darby hadn't done well against Bishop Watterson recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hilliard Darby Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bishop Watterson Eagles 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since February 9th.

Hilliard Darby's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bishop Watterson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Hilliard Darby will head out to square off against Harvest Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Watterson, they will be home for the holidays to greet Circleville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Circleville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Bishop Watterson surely won't give up without a fight.
