Soccer Recap: Shelby County Takes a Loss

Shelby County lost against Montevallo back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that Shelby County have lost by exactly ten goals.

Shelby County has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Montevallo, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby County will host Tarrant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montevallo, they will challenge Sipsey Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Montevallo are facing Sipsey Valley at the right time seeing as Sipsey Valley are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
