Basketball Recap: Mountain Pine Comes Up Short

Mountain Pine suffered their closest defeat since January 23rd on Monday. They fell just short of the Dierks Outlaws by a score of 63-61. The Red Devils have struggled against the Outlaws recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mountain Pine's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Dierks, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 24 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Pine will challenge Parkers Chapel at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Pine knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Parkers Chapel likes a good challenge. As for Dierks, they will welcome Ouachita at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
