Softball Recap: Glenbrook Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Glenbrook walked away with it. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Hanson Memorial Tigers on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Apaches, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Glenbrook is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hanson Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Looking ahead, Glenbrook will square off against Sacred Heart on Wednesday. Hanson Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
