Taylor County had won five straight games and Brayden Ellison did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Taylor County Vikings walked away with a 52-40 win over the Macon County Bulldogs thanks in part to Ellison, who posted 15 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Despite the loss, Macon County still got an impressive performance from Joshua Fulks, who went 9 of 13 en route to 19 points. What's more, Fulks also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kha'Madj Mitchell, who put up five points.

Taylor County pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Macon County, they moved to 15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Taylor County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 69-56 win against Central on the 30th. As for Macon County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-59 victory against Schley County on the 29th.
