Volleyball Recap: Riley County Falcons vs. Nemaha Central Thunder
Riley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nemaha Central Thunder. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11.
Riley County's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Nemaha Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 33-4.
Riley County is taking a road trip to face off against Perry-Lecompton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nemaha Central, they will square off against Rossville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
