Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Christian Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Parsons Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in February.

David Revels made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Breon Sibley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Cedar Creek Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Parsons Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Duval Charter on March 27th. Parsons Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
