Pine Bluffs and Wheatland are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Pine Bluffs Hornets will square off against the Wheatland Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Bluffs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Wheatland likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Pine Bluffs was fully in charge, breezing past Southeast 78-43. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Wheatland beat Glenrock 48-39 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Pine Bluffs' record now sits at 11-8. As for Wheatland, their record is now 8-12.

Pine Bluffs came up short against Wheatland when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 58-46. Can Pine Bluffs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
