Reavis barely beat Argo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams never let the Argonauts get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Jessica Robitz, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Argo off the board.

On the hitting side, Juliana Chalupa was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Aragones, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Reavis has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Argo, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis is set to square off against their familiar foe Tinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Argo will face off against rival Shepard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Argonauts 3.3, the Astros 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
