Softball Recap: Oakman Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oakman waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 13-10 victory over the Carbon Hill Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-8 victory last Tuesday.

Oakman's win bumped their record up to 18-20. As for Carbon Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Oakman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 loss against Cordova on the 12th. As for Carbon Hill, they will face off against Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Aggies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
