Basketball Recap: Skylar Jamison's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bristow over Kiefer

Bristow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 51-28 to the Kiefer Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-32 back in December of 2024.

Bristow lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Skylar Jamison, who posted nine points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in field goal percentage (75%). Melanie Kent was another key player, putting up six points.

Bristow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Kiefer, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Bristow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-25 loss against Perkins-Tryon on the 4th. As for Kiefer, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-39 victory against Mannford on the 4th.
