After losing to Shiner the last time they met, Weimar decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Weimar Wildcats came out on top against the Shiner Comanches by a score of 8-5 on Tuesday.

Weimar's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Shiner, their loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3.

When Weimar and Shiner next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Weimar will try to stop Flatonia's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Weimar's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Shiner's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Shiner will challenge Ganado and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
