Baseball Game Preview: Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian Flying Dutchmen vs. Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons

Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Adrian/Ellsworth since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Flying Dutchmen will square off against the Dragons at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian was handed a eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Minneota 3-2.

Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trevin Prins, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Prins' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Adrian/Ellsworth earned a 6-3 win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

The win got Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian's way against Adrian/Ellsworth in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian made off with a 16-6 victory.
