Recap: Lakeside School Chiefs vs. Calvary Christian Knights
The Lakeside School Chiefs were the 58-57 winner over the Calvary Christian Knights when they last played one another back in November of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Lakeside School was outmatched by Calvary Christian at home and fell 80-42.
Calvary Christian found their leader in underclassman Tj Benson, who scored 27 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Benson has scored at least 25% of Calvary Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Liam Hocutt, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Lakeside School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Calvary Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Lakeside School will play host again and welcome Springwood, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Springwood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 681 points over their last nine contests. As for Calvary Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Wiregrass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wiregrass is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
