Baseball Recap: St. Pius X Takes a Loss

St. Pius X entered their contest against Houston Christian on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. St. Pius X fell 6-2 to Houston Christian. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Pius X and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Houston Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

St. Pius X will square off against Kinkaid at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Houston Christian, they will take on St. John's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
