Soccer Recap: Holy Family Catholic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Watertown-Mayer on Tuesday, Holy Family Catholic came back down to earth. The Fire fell just short of the Providence Academy Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Holy Family Catholic were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Providence Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Holy Family Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Providence Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3-1.

Looking ahead, Holy Family Catholic will venture away from home to take on St. Cloud Cathedral at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Providence Academy, they will welcome Breck at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breck's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
