The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs will challenge the Craig County Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Eastern Montgomery's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
Eastern Montgomery's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over Bland County. Considering the Mustangs have won five games by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Rena Chandler made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Chandler was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Eastern Montgomery got a massive performance out of Sam Brein, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Brein a new career-high. Chelsie Kennedy was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Eastern Montgomery kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Craig County was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 17-1 to Giles.
Eastern Montgomery's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Craig County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
