Baseball Recap: Metrolina Christian Academy Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Metrolina Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hickory Grove Christian Lions by a score of 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 back in March.

Jacob Seamon and Landon Nichols did most of the damage at the plate: Seamon got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Nichols went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Nichols a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Lerch, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Metrolina Christian Academy's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1.
